Why Ecotex is Unique: We are deeply concerned about our environment and realize that disposable products have a negative impact on the planet. As a supplier of these products, we also understand the critical functions they play in a safe and productive clinical environment. In an effort to balance the needs of the planet and the practitioner, we have begun researching and developing ECOTEX brand products that provide the form and function that your customers require but integrate the responsible application of the 3 Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle).
Many changes are meaningful yet incremental as we search fro new technologies and materials to continue to provide more environmentally friendly products. ECOTEX products have innovative packaging designs or methods to REDUCE the use of packaging materials and REDUCE oil consumption in transportation. Ecotex's current dental sponge offering can save 500 tons of paper for the industry annually.
Ecotex products and packaging make use of natural, biodegradable and RECYCLED materials where possible to save trees and reduce landfill impact.
The name ECOTEX is derived from Ecology and Economy, because these positive environmental efforts actually cost less. As we strive to bring more Ecotex products to market and reduce the impact of those currently available we will donate 5% of all profits from Ecotex sales to non-profit conservancy organizations.
